We recommend our traded service to all schools and nurseries. Our team is totally committed to the continuous improvement of our service year on year. We recognise that all of our customers will each have different requirements and are looking for a HR Service that meets their particular needs.


OUR CURRENT SERVICES include:

HR and Employment Relations Services:-

 

Advice, guidance and support with all of the following:

 

• Employee performance and capability

• Optimising attendance (reducing sickness and other unplanned absences)

• Occupational health referrals

• Disciplinary and grievance issues; investigations; case and hearing preparation and presentation support

• Trade union relations; individual and collective consultation and negotiation

• Advice on personnel matters as they relate to child abuse and safeguarding investigations in consultation with the child protection services and the police


Planning and Implementing Organisational Change and Development:-

 

Advice, guidance and support with all of the following

• Identification of affected staff groups

• Attend formal meetings to support consultation on changes

• Implementation of union and staff consultation process

• Job and role design

• Job and role evaluations

• Redundancy and Retirement proposals

• Staff support for those affected (access to People at Work)


Terms and conditions and employment contract advice:-

 

Advice, guidance and support with all of the following

• Interpretation and implications of nationally and locally agreed terms and conditions

• The practical implementation of family friendly policies

• Negotiation of settlement agreements

• Contractual advice on flexible working

• Variation of contractual terms


Pre employment and right to work checks:-

Payroll and Pensions Service:-

 

Advice, guidance and support with all of the following:-

 

• Full administration of pay to individual members of staff

• Completion and submission of the annual Teachers’ Pension return

• Pension scheme administrative support for Teachers and Support staff schemes (we are unable to give direct pensions advice)

• Sound understanding of prevailing socio, economic and demographic context in which schools operate and the challenges they face


Service Standards We aim to deliver a good service and will work closely with all our customers to ensure we are supporting you in the most appropriate and effective way.

To ensure that we are able to deliver this, we ask that you consult with us when setting dates for meetings that you would like for us to attend.

Support and advice is available Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm by telephone and/or e-mail.

Additional support to attend meetings outside of these hours is available by arrangement

It is appreciated that occasionally problems may occur and these are usually best resolved through discussion with the individual concerned. If however you remain unsatisfied with any aspect of the service your concerns can be escalated to the Head of HR Operations.
