Our Services in Detail

• With so many children using facilities on a regular basis, school playground safety and the assessment and maintenance of play and sports equipment is an essential factor in keeping young people safe from harm. While the number of children attending a school can vary, school facilities will be well and regularly used – which can lead to incidental damage and wear that can put users at risk should these issues go unidentified.

• In addition to school responsibilities for pupils’ safety, headteachers, governors and site managers need to satisfy the requirements of their insurers and other statutory bodies while also adhering to legislation surrounding risk assessment and adoption of ‘best practice’ advice of the Health and Safety Executive.

• Each play area will be surveyed in accordance with EU Standards for outdoor play Equipment and Safety Surfacing EN1176 and EN1177.

• Each school will be visited on four occasions annually: one annual inspection and three quarterly inspections.

• "The reports include photographs of your site, equipment and faults that need attending to, so schools can be sure that there is clarity about what is required for prompt attention. All reports are normally delivered electronically in order to reduce the amount of paperwork but schools can opt to have paper reports if desired on request."

• We guarantee that all of our playground inspectors have been accredited by the RPII (Register of Play Inspectors) and the CRB /DBS . Trained to a high level of competence, they work hard to provide you with high quality school playground safety inspections.

• We are always happy to offer support and advice, and we aim to provide a competitively priced service with inspections tailored to your individual requirements; to discuss any element of school playground safety, or equipment and site assessments please contact us.

• We are also able to provide a full design, procurement, project management and works for any improvements to existing equipment or any new equipment required.
