• Each attending school has its own dedicated accommodation.
Our Services in Detail
1) Hosting residential outdoor education courses with two separate accommodation blocks with 45 and 16 beds (61 beds in total). The self-catering en-suite bungalow sleeps 16. A further 34 beds in Annexe is expected to be available from September 2021.
2) On and off-site activities in The Brecon Beacons National Park including adventurous activities, environmental and field studies, team building.
3) Full programme including evening activities
4) Providing personal and social education and environmental education in a friendly setting with fully trained and experienced staff.
5) Programme can be designed to meet needs of client e.g. adventurous activities, environmental education, biology and geography field studies to A level, revision, reward, gifted and talented, GCSE PE, team building, problem solving, personal and social education, DofE expeditions
6) There may be up to 2 schools in residence; each has its own accommodation building with common room, dormitories, toilets and showers.
7) Centre fully equipped, all specialist equipment provided including protective clothing (waterproofs, wellies etc). Facilities include a number of classrooms with audio-visual facilities, swimming pool and field study equipment.
8) Accessibility-friendly bungalow on site, DDA compliant, ground floor of main house accessible for wheelchairs, one minibus modified to take wheelchair, two off road wheelchairs.
9) Pendarren House was built in 1875 as a country residence and retains many of the original features. Set in 16 acres of grounds with beautiful gardens and self programming activities for groups during any 'down time'.
