Dear Head Teachers and Business Managers,
I am very pleased to introduce this brochure about our new FM Compliance SLA.
Please spend a few minutes to read about this offer and how it can help your schools in ensuring your premises are safe and compliant. I fully understand the pressures and constraints that all of our public services are under, and I believe this SLA offer will provide you with a level of service that will allow you to focus on your core business at a very competitive price.
The SLA will be headed up by a dedicated Schools Estates Manager who will be your key contact and will ensure that essential areas of building compliance listed in this brochure are delivered to the correct standard, by accredited contractors.
The contractors have all been selected following a competitive tendering process, so we can guarantee that they are fully accredited, offer a service that meets the standards required and offer excellent value.
By signing up to this SLA you will receive a high level of service that ensures your schools are safe and compliant for pupils, staff and visitors in this important area.
I look forward to working with you.
Andrew Meek
Introduction
We know how expensive and time-consuming compliance can be and that, as a duty holder, you have key responsibilities for ensuring compliance with essential premises-related legislation. We believe that this SLA can provide you with assurance that your premises are safe and compliant for pupils, staff and visitors and let you and your staff concentrate on your core business of educating Haringey’s children.
Working in the public sector, we fully understand budgetary constraints and we believe the offer is very competitively priced.
A key feature of our SLA offer is that it will give you access to a dedicated Schools Estate Manager who will be your primary point-of-contact and will ensure that the services clearly set out in the SLA are delivered to the agreed standard. All of these services will be delivered by accredited contractors who have been selected following a full competitive tendering exercise. This ensured their ability to deliver to the required standard at an extremely competitive price.
When you sign-up to this offer, Haringey Council will take over responsibility for scheduling, delivering and managing every planned
