- What is a hazardous substance?
- COSHH Regulations.
- Duties of employer and employees.
- An understanding of how substances can harm health: routes of entry to the body and medical conditions.
- The role of COSHH: risk assessing the risk of exposure.
- Source of Information: Labelling of substances – CHIP and CLP symbols.
- Do's and Don’t.

This COSHH training includes all the basics and is ideal for all members of staff that handle or are exposed to hazardous substances, to ensure that they know how to keep safe.
Audience:
Those staff and their managers working in site management or using products covered by COSHH for the purpose of their work e.g. cleaners, kitchen staff, etc.
Booking Information:
Delegates will receive a Certificate of Attendance on successful completion of the course.
It is recommended that this course is refreshed at least every three years or where a review is required.
The cost of this course is £100 per delegate (50% discount if school buys into the ‘Health and Safety for Schools’ SLA).
